Daniel started DL Engineering Inc. to create an environment that would enable him to work on residential projects (his passion) while providing uncompromising support his clients. As the business grew, so did the staff. Daniel now enjoys mentoring other engineers so they too can support meaningful interesting work while enjoying a work-life balance.

As a part of the administrative team, Lori helps to coordinate many of the tasks for a successful project. The best part of her role is supporting clients and engineers, so the project runs smoothly from start to finish. She is a proud mom of two boys and several fur babies.

As a part of the administrative team, Sue coordinates many of our proposals. The best part of her role is supporting clients with creative projects and coordinating with engineers. During her spare time, she likes to be hands on quilting, rug hooking, and knitting.

Mary oversees our general operations, assisting both coordination and engineering to make sure everything is running smoothly.

Ryan is a licensed engineer in Colorado and Wyoming supporting a variety of new custom homes, remodels multi-unit structures, and commercial projects. He recently completed a new custom home utilizing ICF walls and timber framing in a high wind speed region and is a favorite in his portfolio. Ryan enjoys any opportunity to golf, winter or summer. His first question to you will likely be what is your golf handicap? Ryan is a Colorado native and as such is a die-hard Colorado sports fan.

Gabriel is a licensed engineer in Colorado who loves residential projects. The perfect project is one he can help the homeowner feel comfortable and good about their home. He’s been interested in house construction as long as he remembers. Gabriel enjoys being outside, playing soccer in the summer and snowboarding in the winters.

Lane is an engineer in training and a proud University of Colorado at Boulder grad. At DL Engineering Inc., Lane works on a variety of projects including single family custom homes, additions, decks, garages, and retaining walls. His favorite types of projects to work on are new builds/home additions. He really enjoys helping people’s visions come to life, whether that means improving upon what they already have or building something new. His favorite project that he’s worked on was a home addition in Denver. The original home was around 685 sqft and DL Engineering Inc. added a two-story 1,300 sqft addition to accommodate the growing family. This was the first project of this scope and size that he worked on and it really made him flex his creative muscles to figure out how some of the pieces were going to fit together.

Outside of work, Lane enjoys playing video games and being active outside, whether it’s wakeboarding, lake surfing, camping or hiking in the summer, or snowboarding in the winter.  He really enjoys just getting outside and enjoying the beautiful state he lives in.

Kyle is a licensed engineer in Colorado who supports a variety of projects, including single family custom homes, additions, decks, and garages. Some of Kyle’s favorite types of projects are working with older 1950s-70s homes and designing remodels that bring them into the twenty-first century, while maintaining their classic nature. Kyle enjoys skiing, hiking, camping, Colorado sports teams, and exploring different kinds of food.

Giovanni is a licensed Colorado and Wyoming. He brings a diverse background of supporting a variety of projects to our team. One of Giovanni’s favorite projects was developing a repair plan for a house that had settled approximately 12 inches. Ultimately the house was salvaged, and the vertical movement was mitigated throughout. Giovanni enjoys anything in the outdoors, hiking, biking, and snow boarding.

Ivan is an engineer in training and a CU Denver grad. At DL Engineering Inc., he focuses on a wide variety of projects including foundation repair. A favorite project for Ivan has been reviewing the structural design for a wooden outdoor obstacle course. When not engineering, Ivan enjoys playing soccer, climbing 14ers, and playing with his dog.

Kevin is supporting the team through conducting construction observations and drafting. His favorite part of his role includes being able to help and work closely with Professional Engineers. This gives a big boost to his knowledge, experience, and confidence. Outside of work, Kevin enjoys watching and playing sports, shopping, and spending time with his family.

Kelly is a licensed engineer in Colorado, supporting many of the foundation repair projects. She loves having the opportunity to work on historical buildings to help preserve the architectural history of Colorado. Kelly enjoys spending her time outdoors rollerskating, hiking, and snowboarding. She also spends time volunteering at her local cat shelter and cuddling her own cats and dog.

Ross is a licensed engineer in Colorado, supporting many of the foundation repair projects.  He has a knack for digging into the details and shepherding projects through any challenges. He recently designed a foundation repair solution of a crumbling stacked stone foundation for a client trying to preserve their 1800s family homestead.  After work, you’ll likely find him cheering on the Avalanche or working in his woodshop.
