What was the challenge? At the rear of the house there was approximately 24 inches of lateral movement which allowed the soil on the outside of the foundation to collapse. The grading at the property was directing water towards the foundation which was going to cause long term problems.  There was also repeated flooding of the basement space. The foundation had a significant failure and was no longer supporting the floor properly. The goal of the project was to stabilize the house and as much as possible pull the structure back to plumb.

What was the solution? DL Engineering Inc. designed a repair plan to re-support the floor system and several wall anchors to move the wall.  The foundation repair contractor was able move the foundation wall back to plumb.
