What was the challenge?:  The home was showing cracking patterns in the interior and exterior basement walls that indicated lateral inward movement of the foundation.  This movement if not stopped could lead to the eventual collapse of the basement walls.

What was the solution? DL Engineering Inc. determined the foundation was in the early stages of lateral movement. By addressing the foundation movement early, the costs of replumbing were avoided. DL Engineering Inc. designed a series of wall braces to stabilize the foundation wall successfully mitigating the movement.
